Our Story Frontline Automation is a proud, Western Australian-owned and operated company, established in 2022 and based in Port Hedland to provide locally based engineering consultancy services to the North West and Pilbara Regions. Ever since first arriving in Port Hedland in 2007, Frontline Automation's founder and director Chris Mansfield noted the distinct lack of representation and support in the region from critical control system service providers and the reluctance of the 'typical consultant' to leave the comfort of their Perth-based office . Having himself built a reputation for not being afraid to get his hands dirty and for going above and beyond to achieve quality, reliable outcomes for his clients, Chris founded Frontline Automation to break the mould of your typical engineering consultancy, taking a m ore hands on, collaborative and sustainable approach to deliver engineering s ervices and support directly to the Fr on tli ne of c lient operations. Frontline Automation are not your typical engineering consultancy. At Frontline Autom ation w e are most at home on-site, out in the field getting our hands dirty, not hidden away in some remote office.
